Homeschool families attending first Friday meetings at St. Monica’s in Kalamazoo may be interested to know about tutorial programs to be offered on Fridays this academic year at Ambrose House on Cork Street. Discussions with the JMJ network led to the development of enhancement programs for college-preparatory science, beginning Latin, and other subjects. Ambrose House of Studies expands on East Cork Street, Kalamazoo ·
The Cardinal Newman Liberal Arts Project is pleased to announce the expansion of Ambrose House located at 736 East Cork Street, Kalamazoo. Our second academic center will serve as a forum for study, tutorials, and lectures, as well as house the Newman Library. Beginning soon, the CNLAP will resume our Monastery Soup Lunches on Thursdays and Fridays. Be sure to check the upcoming schedule.

Bishop Bradley approves Newman Initiative ·

• Appoints Margaret Erich Delegate to the Board

The CNLAP is pleased to announce that Kalamazoo Bishop Paul Bradley has expressed his support for the CNLAP and the Newman College initiative. After discussions with Dr. Muller and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bede, Bishop Bradley acknowledged the CNLAP in a recent letter as having enormous potential for the Diocese and the Church at large and named Superintendent of Catholic Schools Margaret Erich as a delegate to the CNLAP board. Mrs. Erich will keep the Diocese abreast of CNLAP development.
