Bishop Bradley encourages the Newman College Project ·

In a recent letter to the Newman community on the occasion of a visit to Ambrose House to celebrate Mass, Bishop Paul Bradley expressed his continuing support for the Newman College Project and the CNLAP.

Latin I and Latin II Beginning September 15 ·

Tutoring in Latin will begin this Thursday at Ambrose House of Studies, 736 East Cork Street, Kalamazoo. Latin I, which meets at 1:30 p.m., introduces students to the basic principles of grammar and vocabulary is based on the well known college text by Frederick Wheelock. Latin II meets on Fridays at 1:00 p.m.

Ambrose House of Studies houses the John Paul II Library and serves as an academic center for discussion, study, lectures, and tutorials. On most Thursdays, monastery soup is served following the Angelus at 12:00.

Dr. Peter Corrigan will teach New Testament Greek this Year ·

Dr. Peter Corrigan (Ph.D., Cornell Univesity) will offer Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced courses in Koine Greek beginning September 26. Intended primarily for area pastors and clergy, the year-long curriculum will provide study opportunities for students at all levels.
